When the upper portion of the stomach slips up into the diaphragm, the proviso occurs by restricting the natural flow of Hydrochloric Acid, which sets up an alkaline condition in the stomach CAUSING the body's’ chemistry pH to become unbalanced. If not corrected it could eventually CAUSE disease and illness. Hiatal Hernia is not a modern disorder. In fact, it is a disorder as common and ancient as time and man-kind. The main factors in the CAUSE of a Hiatal Hernia are Emotional Stress, Trauma of any kind and the natural phenomenon of Child Birth and Spiritual Transitions. Emotional stress is the greatest and most probable CAUSE of many man-made diseases. What I mean by man-made is: Since Hiatal Hernia is mostly governed by emotional stress and mental trauma, that would make the disease, man-made, man CAUSED. If we were to have more control over our stressful emotions such as anger and emotional upheaval, we would naturally have more control over the disease and illness that occurs to our mind and body.
